But survival isn’t the same as living.
That’s why I built Ayon Travel.
I see you. You don’t travel to escape life; you travel to escape the weight of it. To land where you can finally exhale. To reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been set aside—sometimes buried—for the sake of the job, the family, the fight.
Whether sworn or not, you carry the job in your bones. You’re alert, capable, resilient—and sometimes quietly falling apart while holding it all together.
Travel isn’t a luxury for you. It’s freedom.
Freedom from the cell (phone). From the shift schedule. From always being the one who holds it all.
A trip won’t change the job, but it can change how you carry it and yourself—lighter, freer, together.
This isn’t selfish—it’s survival with soul.
It’s not indulgence. It’s rest you’ve earned. Time that restores you. Space to remember who you are beneath the uniform, the responsibility, the fight. To remember you matter too.
It’s about giving you the chance to show who you are when the world isn’t asking you to hold it all together.
That’s where I come in.
Meet Jenny Jo
(I-yawn, like that first deep breath after too many days of none).
I know the long hours. The sacrifices. I know it because I’ve lived it—a lifetime behind the badge—as a correctional officer’s daughter, with over three decades in the industry myself, and as the wife of a dedicated officer.
I know the toll. The job takes more than it ever gives—and it rarely lets go. But that’s exactly why I do this work. To give back what the job steals—time, presence, the space to just be.
Every journey is custom-built for your life, never from a template.
Ayon Travel is built on trust and deep respect for the lives my clients live.
And that respect extends beyond my clients—to the animals, the earth, and the places we touch along the way.
The weight you carry is heavy enough—you don’t need the guilt of wondering if your trip came at the expense of the planet or its animals. That’s why I plan travel that respects both.
Safaris, treks, and tours that honor the land and protect the wildlife, never exploiting them
Partners who give back to their communities, not just take from them
Journeys designed to restore you without leaving scars on the Earth
Because your freedom should never come at the cost of theirs.
